World Trumpet Society
I am excited to be on the Canadian Executive Board and performing faculty for this new organization! The World Trumpet Society is preparing for its first North American seminar and solo competition in Kingston, Ontario – Six days of masterclasses, private classes, clinics, an international trumpet competition, instrument exhibits and evening recitals and concerts by some of the world’s finest trumpet professionals. In early 2018 a collective of musicians in Southern Alberta decided to form a new and fresh Jazz tentet in Lethbridge that featured mostly our own compositions and arrangements. This “little big band” is quickly garnishing a large following with regular monthly gigs at the Owl Acoustic Lounge. Check out the Facebook page for more info.
Lethbridge Community Brass Choir
In early 2015 the highly reputable Lethbridge Community Band Society was looking to offer a new ensemble to the Southern Alberta Community. I have been the Artistic Director, Conductor and performer for this wonderful ensemble for over 4 seasons, which has become a staple in the music scene in Lethbridge.
A new and exciting trio with two colleagues from the University of Lethbridge – Deanna Oye (Piano), and Nick Sullivan (Bass Trombone). This trio focuses on music for this less-than-traditional combination of sounds.
Jazz Jam Sessions at the Owl Acoustic Lounge

Lethbridge Jazz Society
I am proud to be the past President of The Lethbridge Jazz Society, a non profit organization located in Lethbridge, Alberta dedicated to sharing and promoting jazz music in southern Alberta. While sponsoring and supporting artists’ performances is part of our goal, hosting the annual jazz festival is the main purpose of this organization.
Austin Brass Project
The Austin Brass Project is an organization aiming to provide a forum for brass musicians to create music of the highest standards through collaborative performance and education. Currently the main focus is the Summer Chamber Institute for brass musicians.
